Class of 2023 – Reconnect Evening

The Copper Beech Trust was delighted to host an evening of chat, food & drinks for the lads from the class of 2023 & their parents.  Headmaster Mr. Damon McCaul was also in attendance.  Over 100 people met up in the bar in Old Belvedere Rugby Club (Ollie Campbell Park) on the evening of Wednesday 10th April 2024.

The main purpose of the evening was to give the guys an opportunity to reconnect with each other, with many not having seen each other since they left the College last year.

The evening started with some drinks and chats and we were then treated to a very informative talk by psychologist, Niamh Hannan, who provided some insights on how to deal with various emotions and feelings that arise due to many factors – adjusting to new adult life and grief among others.  

It’s fair to say that these guys have been put through the mill over the last few years, so it was great to be able to provide them with a forum in which they could reconnect with each other and more importantly, check in on how everyone is doing.
